Since retiring two years ago, despite doing lots of walking including Nordic Walking, I felt I needed another dimension to improve my fitness, keep my weight in check, and improve strength and mobility particularly for skiing.
I found Bridge4, tried it and decided to join. I have been doing the classes in the Bridge4 Programme and the Physiotherapy led Pilates. Four months after joining, I noticed a big improvement in fitness and strength on my ski trip and an improvement in fitness when walking, particularly up hills. A bonus has been a slow but steady weight loss.
I hadn’t been to a gym for several years and to be honest I never really enjoyed the gym experience before. What made me try Bridge4 was the appeal of the small physiotherapist supervised classes and these have proved even better than expected! They are always varied and enjoyable as well as teaching me lots of little things about exercising effectively in a fun way. Being shown how to do the different exercises properly has been really enlightening.
The staff in the classes are always encouraging, professional and approachable and along with the personal, friendly and helpful welcome in reception this all makes one feel a really valued member of the gym.
